Service Description

CLINICARE professional exfoliating/peeling treatments are skin restorative procedures. These are common treatments for skin care problems, and also used to slow down the effects of ageing and damages caused to the face by long-term sun exposure. Our facial peel treatment also helps to lessen the appearance of dark areas on the face, which can be caused by hyper-pigmentation or age spots. A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes the top layers to exfoliate and eventually peel off. Sounds scary, we know, but there are benefits. The new skin is typically smoother and younger-looking, which is why it’s commonly performed to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, skin discolouration and scars on the face, neck or hand. Other perks include brightened skin and removing pore-clogging build up. Chemical peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk & shorter recovery time. We offer 3 different peels all with CLINICARE products; - Refresh 40-50% Peel - great for; ageing skin, photo damaged skin, rough texture, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and dull, sallow skin colour. - Pure 35-40% Peel - great for; inflammatory and non inflammatory acne, blackheads and comedones, rough texture, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and aging ski. - Glow 30-40% Peel - great for; photo damaged skin, hyper pigmentation, rough texture, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, dull, sallow skin colour and aging skin. During the consultation the therapist will advise the best peel option and course for you, everyone is different. These peel treatments are great as they can be tailored to each individuals needs.
